Got your own jetski licence? If so, this might be for you. Hire a jetski from us and explore Pumicestone Passage between Golden Beach, Caloundra and the locals favourite spot for high speed adventure, Lighthouse Reach.

A great way to spend the morning or the afternoon (even the whole day if you want) with family and friends. We bring the jet ski to Golden Beach, provide you with all the safety gear, a briefing and then physically show you round the waterway to make sure you get the most out of your hire. The late model Yamaha VX Waverunner ski comes with a full tank of fuel. We think you will have more fun coming on one of our regular trips - but this is a great alternative if you have got a jetski licence, and a group of family and friends but no ski!

Come for a Spin

We travel between Caloundra and Bribie Island most days. Hitch a ride with the guide for $160 return. Spend a few hours on Bribie or… Take a quick spin or do one of the trips for half the cost on the guide’s ski, or create your own guided adventure.

There's a whole ship load of reasons why getting on the guide's jetski might make sense:

1. There's seven in your group - and only room for six on the hired jetskis. Get on Ken's ski and don't miss out on the Bribie Blast, the Glasshouse Twister, the City Explorer or the Sunshine Coast Jetski Epic.

2. You want to do the trip… but you don’t want to pay full price.

3. You're the laid back type... and would prefer to let someone else do the driving - and besides you are more interested in the scenery than the agility of these very quick machines.

4. You want to do something different - go to places the other trips don't. Ken can take you.

5. Fancy a day on a virtually secluded beach on Bribie Island - ten minutes on a jetski will get you there and we will come and pick you up when you're ready to come home.

6. You want to have a picnic on Bribie Island – and getting there and back on a jetski sounds pretty cool.

You do the sums : If you want to do one of our regular scheduled trips, it’s half the cost of driving yourself…. But the options are endless.

JET SKIING FOR NATURE LOVERS

If you want to see some of the best country in the land, why not have some fun getting there?  We use the latest Yamaha jet skis - so clean they meet the tough Californian emission standards - to satisfy the thrill seeker in you,  and we use the magnificent Pumicestone Passage, Bribie Island, the Glasshouse Mountains and the Moreton Bay Marine Park to appeal to the \"nature lover\" in all of us.

To kick things off, a qualified marine instructor will teach you all the manouevres, operating and safety procedures. In no time at all you will be powering your own machine along unrestricted, pristine Marine Park waterways; doing all the manouevres you want through twisting & turning channels while all the time passing incredible marine park scenery.

We have a commercial permit with the Parks and Wildlife Service to take you into the heart of the \"green zone\"  so you can experience the extraordinary natural world protected in the Moreton Bay Marine Park.  Pumicestone Passage is an exceptional estuary system of meandering channels, sand banks and islands separating Bribie Island from the mainland.  The Bribie Blast (Lighthouse Reach)

A 25km free wheeling adrenalin blast along the western bank of Bribie Island to historic Lighthouse Reach - a little hideaway where the locals go for high speed adventure. On this trip, we administer just the right amount of adrenalin to suit you. Learn about this area\'s unique history and it\'s extraordinary geological links with the volcanos of Glasshouse Mountains.

Glasshouse Twister

(90 mins, $240 per jet ski)

Our most popular! Combine the thrills and spills of the Bribie Blast with an eco-adventure that will leave you spellbound. We take you deep into the Marine Park, twisting and sliding your skis through 50km of a mangrove lined channel. Ride the Roys, the Narrows, the Hazards, the Skids and the W\'s before arriving at Tripcony Bight and magnificent views over Glasshouse Mountains. This is the heart of the Green Zone - a system of islands, sandbanks and channels supporting a wide diversity of significant species including migratory shore and wading birds from Alaska, Siberia, China; marine turtles; dugongs and dolphins. Discover this magnificent region, the Glasshouse Mountains and a few more \'local secrets\'. Our journey home from here is a non-stop blast where the \'agility\' of our machines is much appreciated. Sunshine Coast Jetski Epic

Our signature experience and the best value for money! We go all out to give you an experience you won\'t forget.  Leaving from Pelican Waters Caloundra, a full-on three hour trip riding almost the entire length of Pumicestone Channel with stops at Lighthouse Reach, the Glasshouse Mountains and the seaside villages of Donnybrook and Toorbul. Full of \'surprises\', this ride combines all types of water from winding estuary to ocean-like riding, passing quaint seaside villages, coastal camping grounds, historic oyster beds and local waterway activity. Snacks and water provided for the three hour extravaganza and on your return, enjoy a battered seafood platter at the Caloundra Power Boat Club. A fantastic & unique way to spend half-a-day. The Caloundra City Explorer

(40 Min $120)

Go to town with this new option. This is the gentle alternative – a laid back, relaxed chance to see Caloundra city from the water on the back of a jet ski. Leaving from Power Boat Club, learn how to handle a jet ski at low and high speed, ski along the western bank of Bribie Island, across Pumicestone Passage and into downtown Caloundra.

Refund & Returns Policy

If for any reason you are unable to take your prepaid tour, every effort will be made to identify a suitable alternative date and time. In the event, that alternative arrangements cannot be made, then a full refund will be made provided the cancellation is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. 

PWC (Jet Ski) Licence Courses.

You don\'t need a licence for one of our safaris, but a word of warning - jet skiing is addictive. Do one of our safaris and there is a real risk you will want to get a jetski license and buy your own machine. We can help by arranging a training and licensing course for you. 
 
Overview:
The PWC Licence course comprises two main areas.
Theory component
Practical component

The theory component is normally conducted first, comprising of a lesson presentation and
short questionnaire. The practical component then follows after a safety brief and demonstration.
For the practical component Caloundra Jet Ski provides the training craft (Yamaha VX1100 Waverunners) you will either ride by yourself or have the instructor as pillion.

Upon satisfactory completion of the course, you will be issued with a Statement of Competency to be presented to Queensland Transport in return for your PWC Licence.
You must hold a Recreational Marine Drivers Licence or its equivalent, (i.e. speed boat licence; interstate boating licence; Statement of Competency) prior to completing this course.
